Well it's been a while! Its a very busy place at the moment, (not that I'm complaining) so it takes some 'getting round to' to keep the blog updated.
This year Emmie from The Prince's Trust nominated Clare for 'Young Achiever of the Year' in the Celebrate Success awards for Yorkshire and Humber. I don't know whether there was more excitement over the award nomination, or the fact that it had 'young' in the title!
Anyhow, at the beginning of September we were notified that Clare had made the final four for the award, and we are to attend the awards ceremony on 4th November at The Royal Armouries in Leeds.
Clare says it would be a great award to win, but there is some stiff competition, and very deserving entrants. For more information about the Prince's Trust please visit www.princes-trust.org.uk.

It all started with a coffee.....no seriously it did! Clare Tomlinson and Rachael Binns were having coffee with their young children, contemplating the work/life balance.
'I could do some training, a couple of days a week', Clare said, having taken redundancy from her full time post following the birth of her second child. 'Sounds good', agreed Rachael, 'Do you need a partner?' Eight weeks, hundreds of meetings, a business plan, and a quick lesson in business, later, and we were a limited company.
